Can you meet my multiple location needs?
Absolutely, we can meet your multiple location needs with ease. American Asset assists with
asset management all over the U.S., your company
is no exception. It does not matter if your multiple buildings are down the street or across the
nation.

What are the costs associated?
American Asset has several programs to meet the needs and budget of your organization. We offer a full range of services from Logistics planning, Full Asset Audits,
Data Erasures, and Remarketing Campaigns to meet your needs. We can also create a program that both
satisfies and meets your budget.

What kind of equipment is eligible for recycling?
American Asset specializes in asset management for all IT equipment including but not limited to Servers, PC's, Laptops, Monitors, Laser Printers,
Docking Stations, Port Replicators, Scanners, Terminals,
Inkjet Printers, Hubs, Copiers, Fax Equipment, Cords, Cables, Keyboards,
and Mice. If you are wondering if American Asset can properly handle equipment that is not listed please contact us. Most
likely we can safely meet your needs.

Do I have to be a large organization in order to qualify for the services offered by American Asset?
No, American Asset provides it's services to organizations of all sizes. Large volumes are not necessary in order to arrange an
audit or collection. Let us work around your space needs.

What if my equipment has no marketable value?
Not to worry. We have cost effective plans for equipment that is too out of date to receive value back, but still needs to be processed correctly. This includes both proper Data
Security measures and Environment Compliance.

What about the data security? How do you ensure data is removed?
American Asset uses proven methods only to erase data. All data holding assets enter through our in-house data erasure
procedures and come out clear of all data. How do we know this? We
check random pieces after they have gone through our data erasures
to ensure the highest standards are always met and never compromised.
We also offer onsite data destruction services for those who would
like an extra level of security. These onsite services include erasure, destruction, and marked sealed container
transportation.

Will my Asset tags be removed?
Absolutely, as part of our data erasure procedures we remove any asset tags or possible identifying marks on your assets. All to ensure not only your data is safe but also your reputation.

What are my options for reporting?
Accurate reporting in asset management and retirement is invaluable. But the level of reporting required for each client may vary. Depending on your needs we can customize the reports you receive.
Our most (robust???) reports include serial, asset tag, specs, model, type, sale value.
Our light reporting may only include piece counts by type. Each client is different in their needs, we realize that, and
will work with you to help define and surpass those needs.

How can I get/check my reporting?
Simple, our valued customers may contact their sales rep to gain access to our Audit site. By simply
login you can look up and print any audit that was completed under your name. These reports
stay online and are always available.

What remarketing services are available to me?
We have multiple options to meet your organizations needs. In order to maximize your return on assets we recommend our consignment sale. This program brings your assets to multiple buyers and
allows for a competitive system ensuring max dollar. Another option is our Fixed
Value program. A dollar amount is assigned to all value holding assets and purchased by us for resale. Although
potentially a smaller return, this allows for a quicker return.

How do you relieve me of liability?
All of our procedures are designed to not only properly handle equipment but to
relieve you of liability. On our front side we offer a Transfer of Ownership form. This form certifies that handling of
collected assets is shifted from your organization to ours. Then using our data removal
procedures we remove your data, assets tags, and identifying marks. Collected assets are inventoried for your
audit report. This report is made available to you along with a certificate of compliance. This combination of documents and procedures will
relieve you of liabilities associated with asset retirement.

Will any assets end up in the landfill?
Absolutely not. American Asset is a environmentally responsible partner of safe asset disposition. End of life assets are taken directly to partnering shredding facilities after we have carried out our
processes. These shredding facilities have passed our downstream audits as well as all other EPA and
governmental inspections. We are very serious about our zero landfill policies and can guarantee
that no e-waste leaving our building is destined for landfills.

Will American Asset export Hazardous material overseas?
No, all hazardous e-waste that leaves our facilities is transported directly to American shredding facilities. These facilities are located within the US and directly handle the shredding of e-waste. We
do not support or participate in overseas shipping of end of life material.
